Heartbreaking, mama dog attempts to stop traffic and begs people to assist her and her puppies

Esdras Andrade, a self-employed animal guardian and rescuer from So José dos Campos, Brazil, saw a video of a family of dogs crossing a busy street. Unfortunately, the animals were abandoned and died. It was definitely the best place for stray animals, but Esdras refused to let them suffer.

Instead of lying on the beach, Esdras grabbed his keys and drove straight to the dogs’ position. He saw the mother dog attempting to stop traffic in the middle of the road. She asked for assistance, but no passing automobiles were interested enough to stop. Instead, they disregarded the unfortunate puppy and went about their business.

Despite her apparent anxiety of the oncoming automobiles, the mama dog remained standing and continued to seek assistance. She didn’t mind being in danger as long as someone chose to assist her. Unfortunately, she did not obtain the assistance she needed.

Esdras went over to the puppies who were laying on the grass. He was about a stride away when the mother dog saw him and raced over to stop him. She had no idea he was there to assist her and told him to keep his distance.

The rescuer needed to swiftly acquire the mama dog’s trust. He could tell her puppies needed medical treatment with a single glimpse. He also suspected that something was wrong with her and that they should consult a veterinarian as soon as possible.

Esdras had to put in hours of effort to save the mother dog and her babies. But he hurried them to the vet as quickly as he could. He didn’t spare time since he knew the newborn puppies needed to visit a professional as soon as possible.

Thousands of fleas invaded the entire household. However, one puppy was substantially more contaminated than his brothers. He needed particular treatment, yet everyone got the attention they needed.

The rescuer has taken in the mother dog and her six puppies. They will be eligible for adoption shortly, but for the time being, they have been placed in a foster family where they will be able to be together until they are all ready to start afresh.
